Test the sensor, make sure that you are choosing an exam that was created for the sensors. For Hardware Type, in the drop-down box, please make sure that you have the "Elite Remote" listed. Click on the "Schick Sensor" button under Device Properties. Here you should have "Sensor" set as your default device and "Schick Sensor" set as your default sensor. Check preferences in Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging under File | Preferences/General Preferences | XRay Tab. If you can get your remote and sensor information to show, please continue to step 4. If you are unable to get your equipment to recognize in the utility, your issue is most likely hardware related and you need to contact the Patterson Technology Center for assistance. If you still do not see your remote and sensor information, try swapping equipment with another room or change the USB cable. In here you should see the remote firmware listed, along with the serial number and firmware for your sensor? If you do not, make sure that Eaglesoft/Patterson Imaging is closed and try the utility again.
Go to the Start Menu on your computer, look for "CDRDicom For Windows" and then "Upgrade Utility".Make sure you are not using any USB extenders or powered USB hubs.Please disconnect/reconnect these cables as a troubleshooting step.Make sure that the sensor is connected to the remote and the remote is connected to the USB cable that runs directly into the computer's USB port. Check to make sure that your cables are connected properly.
